T R: As a fan of WipEout since 1995... it is absolutely soul crushing. Those of you who don't care about the original game may enjoy it...

Daniel Rew-Dixon: Not what I wanted from a WipEout game, but a nice enough game nonetheless. Nice polish, music and it's still fairly fun. But how do I complete the daily challenge for "View 5 collectable cards"? I can't seem to get the number to go up.

Jai Emerson: I love it, i have some suggestions mabey add a braking system, mabey instead of stat multipliers you can replace them with better fuel like normal fuel, super fuel and mega fuel or like better engines like a normal engine, jet engine and light speed engine just make the game a bit less reapting and give it some spice. I hope you took this post into account because i have finished the campain and got a S10 asegau fury and i want some other stuff to do thx.

Rayzer Maniac: Firstly this is not a racing game. It is not even remotely close. The only thing you control in the races is the launch and one weapon. The rest of the race you spectate. This was a huge mistake for a game called Wipeout. So many of us will remember Wipeout as a kid. It was one of the best racing games of its time. That being said, for what there is I actually found myself enjoying it, a little. So it deserves more than one star. But a Wipeout game should let you actually race.

Happy GoLucky: I thought the reviews were exaggerated so I had to install to try. Yes it's bad. You should just be able to race. After a quick race demo I was left at the end of the race just continuously draging icons on top of one another ENDLESSLY and nothing was happening. No advancing to the next stage. This is the most un intuitive game I have ever experienced. Uninstalling.

Tom: This is a difficult review for me. I loved wipEout as a kid, and I can certainly see how they have encapsulated the game into an app (and obviously you can't make a full blown PlayStation game completely the same on mobile). However - the problem is that the game only lets you mark time rather than having substance to it. The "races" are okay, and there is a tiny bit of a competitive element to them, but something is missing. You ultimately either race in short races or merge ships. That's it.

Joshua Holloway: The mobile racing market is overstuarated with the same drag style gameplay of tapping at the right time at corners or to change gears. Wipeout rush somehow manages to water that down even more. You only can do 2 actions in every race. Press go at the right time which is easier than most mobile games, and fire your 1 weapon. I guess there's some "skill" in chosing which ship and weapon combo obviously counters your opponent but that's it. The rest of the game is a weird idle game. Waste of time

Luke W: Honestly, having given it a chance, it's not as bad as the review bombers say. Most ad spots are optional, and most ideas are sound, but the actual gameplay really could use some work. I'll give credit for actually using official art, music, adding new bits of lore text etc, even bringing back weapons that haven't been seen for a very long time (such as the Cloak and the Electrobolt), but we're missing other ones like the Plasma? I have been able to get the UI stuck once or twice tapping through menus too fast. If you grab the free item from the store before Amy Belmondo tells you about it, she'll keep bugging you about it until the next day where you can claim it again. I'm also not sure I should be able to keep pressing refresh to show more and more items when there's a timer already in the store? Finally, the meat of the game, it's Wipeout in name only. The concept of this scalectric like racing... thing with only two controls is functional but its just not very fun and gets repetitive really quick. It especially hurts when going for achievements, as it often requires 50 races per track OR 25 races per a particular ship alone, and this can take about an hour or more per achievement to do. I'd really wish those achievements could be cut down to 10 per chosen ship, maybe. If I had any more suggestions for the developers, the UI could use some work particularly when picking ships and weapons. Lots of scrolling when you accumulate a pile of weapons and ships to pick the right one, and it's rather slow when going for those 25 race achievements. I'd also maybe make it so the Cannon weapon actually disappears if you use ANY ammunition for it, because as it stands as long as you save one round it gets reloaded. You could ride out a high-grade Cannon for the entirety of the game. Lastly, it really just needs a mode where we do get to actually pilot the ship, like a Wipeout Pulse-lite. It doesn't need much, just tilt steering with locked throttle and airbrakes, you can even keep the same race format. A free flight mode on the test track would be pretty fun too. Perhaps after 5 races as well, if its allowed, do a little advertising for Wipeout Omega Collection on PS4 as well to encourage players to jump into the franchise proper. I'm gonna keep going and finish it but it's just okay. Could be better. I've bought the no-ads bundle but I hoped it'd skip prompts that'd normally require and ad watch and just give me those things instead.

Xavier P: This "game" is absolutely abysmal and uninteresting. You can either spend your time waiting for money to accumulate so you can drag icons on top of another, or you can engage in extremely simplified "races" during which you are allowed to click two buttons. Both facets of the "game" are infested with ads, and of course you can buy boosters and currency to speed up the completely boring "progress." The visuals are fifteen years old and while they are timeless, the recycling disappoints.
